Ukrainian army starts using robotic dogs for reconnaissance at the front
Soldiers from the Kurt & Company unit of the 28th Separate Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign showed how they use a "robodog" on the battlefield.
Here's What We Know
The unit wrote that the drone is taking part in the fighting in the battles for the city of Toretsk, Donetsk region. It is likely that the robot dog is used for reconnaissance, which is helped by its high cross-country ability, speed and low visibility.
In addition, judging by the photos, the four-legged drone can be used not only in open areas but also in buildings. The drone has a camouflage coating and a special handle for quick carrying.
It's worth noting that various developed countries have long had experimental programmes with "robodogs". For example, we recently wrote that the United States has once again tested Q-UGV drones developed by Ghost Robotics and Immersive Wisdom.
