Flashback

The H225M Caracal (formerly known as the Eurocopter EC725 Caracal) is a multi-purpose military transport helicopter developed by Airbus Helicopters. The H225M is designed for a variety of missions including tactical troop transport, search and rescue, medical evacuation and maritime patrol.

The H225M is powered by two powerful Safran Makila 2A1 engines, which provide high payload capacity and range. The helicopter has reinforced armour to protect the crew and passengers and can carry a variety of weapons, including machine guns and missiles for self-defence and fire support.

The avionics and navigation systems allow the H225M to operate effectively in difficult weather conditions and at night. The helicopter is actively used by the armed forces of France, Brazil, Malaysia and other countries.
