Take-Two Interactive has announced its financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2025: sales of Grand Theft Auto V remained stable at 200 million units, and sales of Red Dead Redemption 2 increased significantly, exceeding 65 million units.

Here's What We Know

Despite the discontinuation of Red Dead Online, the game continues to attract an audience thanks to free themed outfits for content creators and monthly bonuses. The company's net revenue for the quarter was $1.22 billion, which was in line with forecasts. The main revenue drivers were NBA 2K24 and the Grand Theft Auto series.

However, consumer spending declined, which affected Grand Theft Auto Online and NBA 2K. There was no news about Grand Theft Auto VI, except for the confirmation of its expected release in autumn 2025.
