Developers of the unsuccessful horror shooter Quantum Error from TeamKill Media studio presented gameplay trailer of their next project - shooter Son and Bone, in which Sheriff Sam Judge from Montana, chasing gangsters, finds himself in a world inhabited by dinosaurs and anthropomorphic reptiloids.

Here's What We Know

In the new video the developers showed Son and Bone gameplay in detail and the footage shows that it will be a classic arena-shooter with a huge number of enemies and cartoonish violence.

In its concept, the game resembles something between modern DOOM and classic Serious Sam games, but instead of infernal demons and alien monsters, players will face prehistoric dinosaurs.

The protagonist masterfully deals with huge reptiles, deftly tears off their heads with his bare hands and breaks horns of triceratops, and also actively uses an impressive arsenal of weapons - from revolvers to rocket launchers and grenade launchers.

According to the shown shots, it doesn't seem that Son and Bone will be a serious competitor to modern shooters, and certainly not to other PlayStation exclusives. It's not even clear yet if the game is made emphasised cringe-worthy on purpose or if it's just very budget-friendly, but we'd like to hope that the shooter won't repeat the mistakes of Quantum Error.

When We Can Expect It

As a release date for Son and Bone, the developers have listed "Soon. Very soon. Seriously, very soon."

The game is being built on the Unreal Engine 5 engine and will be a new PlayStation 5 exclusive.
