The developers of Dragon Age: The Veilguard RPG are not stingy with loud promises and try to convince gamers that they have taken into account their own mistakes and will not allow them in the new game.

Here's What We Know

The Veilguard game director Corinne Busche made an interesting statement. She claims that the opening cutscene of the new Dragon Age will surpass the finale of Dragon Age: Inquisition (2014) in terms of scale and spectacle.

Out of respect for those readers who haven't played Inquisition but plan to do so, we won't tell you what happened in its ending, but we'll note that the bar is quite high and if the developers' promises are fulfilled, The Veilguard will capture players' attention from the first minutes.

Judging by Corinne Bouchet's comments, the footage of Solas the elf and his army of demons attacking a huge city, shown in the first gameplay video, is the starting point of the new game, and it looks really impressive.

We wanted the prologue to feel like the finale of the last game. When you immediately witness the attack on the city, thus instantly immersing yourself in the story and action.

As a reminder, Dragon Age: The Veilguard developers recently revealed that players will visit Minrathous, the largest and most impressive city in the series' history.

When We Can Expect It

BioWare has promised that the release date and details of the promising RPG will be announced at the end of summer, probably at gamescom 2024.

So far, it's stated that the game will be released before the end of 2024 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
