Google Meet has received a major update with a new interface and expanded features. Following the recent Made by Google event, the company introduced significant changes to its video calling service. The new version of the app has an updated layout.

Here's What We Know

The updated interface includes the ability to use several video effects at the same time, such as backgrounds and filters. The new "on-the-go mode" feature allows you to switch calls to audio only, which is useful when travelling. In addition, users can quickly open a chat window to share links and use new emoji reactions during group calls.

Google Meet also supports the ability to share the screen and switch between devices without interruption.

Changes include access to live subtitles in more than 70 languages. According to the company, these new features will be gradually available over the next few months.
