According to insider and Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, Apple is working on a new category of device.

Here's What We Know

We are talking about a gadget for controlling smart devices in the home. It will be an iPad, which should be attached to a robotic arm. Thanks to this, the device will be able to rotate 360 degrees. The novelty will get FaceTime for voice messages and video calls. The gadget will use Siri and Apple Intelligence. It will be able to respond to voice commands.

By the way, according to Gurman, Apple has made the development of the new device a priority. Kevin Lynch, Apple's vice president of technology, who oversaw such projects as the Apple Watch and the cancelled self-driving car, is responsible for the creation of the novelty.

Price & When We Can Expect It

If everything goes according to plan, the novelty will debut by 2026 or 2027. The gadget is planned to sell for $1,000.
