Leopard 1A5 tanks, Gepard anti-aircraft systems, IRIS-T SLM and IRIS-T SLS air defence systems: Germany has revealed what weapons it will transfer to Ukraine by the end of 2024

German General Christian Freuding gave an interview in which he revealed a list of weapons that Germany plans to transfer to Ukraine by the end of 2024.

Here's What We Know

According to Freuding, the AFU will receive additional air defence systems by the end of the year. We are talking about 2 batteries of medium-range surface-to-air missile system IRIS-T SLM, two batteries of short-range surface-to-air missile system IRIS-T SLS and 10 self-propelled anti-aircraft systems Gepard.

In addition, Ukraine will receive about 30 Leopard 1A5 tanks, which are currently being repaired by the Rheinmetall company. Also Germany will send Ukraine drones of dispersal type, 12 artillery tracked systems PzH 2000, 4 SAU Zuzana 2 and 400 armoured vehicles MRAP. Also on the list are various ammunition, medical equipment and Zetros trucks.
