A few months ago, former employees of id Software, Naughty Dog and Activision, who previously worked on DOOM, Call of Duty, The Last of Us and other hit games, founded the emptyvessel studio and announced big plans for their debut project.

Here's What We Know

It was announced that emptyvessel's first game will be an ambitious futuristic shooter being developed on Unreal Engine 5, and now the public has been presented with its debut trailer.

The game is called Defect and it turns out to be an online shooter set in a dystopian dystopian city of the future, where evil Artificial Intelligence, gangsters and corrupt law enforcement are fighting for control.

Players will form teams of four and engage in dynamic PvP battles. Defect will offer an impressive arsenal of weapons, brutal and dynamic gameplay, a distinct cyberpunk style and a beautiful soundtrack by the famous composer Mick Gordon.

When We Can Expect It

There is no release date for Defect, the game is still planned to be released only on Steam, where its page with the description of the main features is already available.
