Rumour: Huawei's foldable smartphone that will triple fold will be unveiled in September
A Chinese insider has shared new details on Weibo about Huawei's foldable smartphone, which will fold into three.
Here's What We Know
According to the leak, the novelty passes with the codename Iceland. The gadget is now at the testing stage. If everything goes according to plan, the device will be shown in September. As for a full-fledged release, it is most likely to be expected in early 2025.
We already know that the new foldable smartphone should be powered by a flagship processor. It will probably be the company's proprietary Kirin 9000S chip or its new version. The gadget will also get a slim body, multiple cameras and HarmonyOS operating system.
By the way, apart from Huawei, Samsung is also working on a similar foldable smartphone, but due to development issues, we shouldn't expect it anytime soon.
