Samsung's Galaxy S21 series flagships start receiving a new security update for August

Samsung is expanding the list of its smartphones that have received a new security update for August and next in line is the Galaxy S21 series of flagships.

Here's What We Know

The new security update is available for all three models - Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra. It comes with firmware version G99xBXXUCGXGC and is only available in Vietnam for now. The new security software is expected to be released in other countries in the next few days.

The update includes a security patch dated August 2024 for the Galaxy S21 series and fixes nearly 50 security vulnerabilities found in the previous version of the software. You can check for the update by going to Settings " " Software Update and clicking Download and Install.
