BioWare continues active advertising campaign of the RPG Dragon Age: The Veilguard.

The developers have already presented an epic trailer with the release date and revealed the system requirements of the game. Soon after that the public was informed about one more important nuance.

Here's What We Know

Gamers can already pre-order all editions of The Veilguard, the price for which starts from $60 on PC and from $70 on consoles, and for real fans of the series BioWare has prepared a collector's edition, which costs $150.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard - Rook's Coffer includes the following items:

  • a luminous dagger made of lirium;
  • a lithograph with companions;
  • Rook's deck;
  • potion flask;
  • enchanted dice;
  • a map of the game world in a tube.

Did you notice what's missing from the set? Yes, attentive readers have understood correctly, the Collector's Edition of Dragon Age: The Veilguard is sold without a copy of the game, so it must be purchased separately. Consequently, the Rook's Coffer edition costs $150 + the price of the selected edition of the game = an average of $220.

Electronic Arts isn't the first company to do it this way, but it doesn't look very nice, frankly speaking.

When We Can Expect It

Dragon Age: The Veilguard will release on 31 October on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
