Zombie shooter Arizona Sunshine was released in 2017 and was one of the first comprehensive VR games.

But due to the lack of development of virtual reality technologies and the public's lack of interest in such projects, Arizona Sunshine did not get enough popularity.

Vertigo Games studio decided to make another attempt and breathe new life into the shooter.

Here's What We Know

Arizona Sunshine remake was announced for PlayStation VR2, Steam VR and Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest 3.

The developers will offer significantly improved graphics, increased texture quality, an enhanced story campaign, improved combat system, full co-op support and improved zombie dismemberment mechanics.

The Arizona Sunshine Remake will include all original content, including the Deadman and Cursed story campaigns, as well as the Old Mine, Trailer Park, and Undead Valley updates.

Since VR technology has made great strides in the 8 years since the original Arizona Sunshine, it's possible that the remake could attract a lot more attention.

When We Can Expect It

Arizona Sunshine Remake will be released on the 17th of October.

Pre-orders have started on all the mentioned platforms.
