Galaxy S25 Ultra or Galaxy S25 Note? Samsung may rename the Galaxy S25 series smartphones

According to the latest rumours from whistleblower @heyitsyogesh, Samsung is considering changing the model names in the upcoming Galaxy S25 lineup.

Here's What We Know

The top-end Galaxy S25 Ultra model may be renamed Galaxy S25 Note to emphasise the inbuilt S-pen feature specific to the Galaxy Note series. The mid-range Galaxy S25+ model may be called the Galaxy S25 Pro, in keeping with the trend of using the term "Pro" in many brands' portfolios. The base model is likely to retain the Galaxy S25 name.

It is important to note that these are just rumours for now and a final decision may not be made yet. The name change could cause confusion as "Ultra" is already associated with better specs in the Galaxy S lineup. The Galaxy S25 lineup is also expected to see slight design changes, such as more rounded corners on the S25 Ultra (Note) model compared to its predecessor. The front panel is likely to remain largely unchanged, with minimal bezels and a small camera cutout in the centre.
