Xiaomi, Honor and Huawei to release flagship tablets with dual-layer OLED displays this year
This year, new flagship tablets from Xiaomi, Honor, and Huawei will be launched on the market, equipped with dual-layer OLED displays. Xiaomi, in particular, is preparing the Pad 7 series, which will include the Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro models.
Here's What We Know
Both tablets are likely to feature a dual-layer OLED display, which will provide better brightness and durability compared to the IPS LCD panels used in the previous Pad 6 models.
This technology was originally introduced by Honor in the Magic 6 Ultimate and will also appear in the iPad Pro 2024. Dual-layer OLED displays are becoming popular due to their advantages in brightness and lifespan.
In addition, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will reportedly also feature a dual-layer OLED panel, and Huawei and Honor are planning to release their flagship tablets with similar displays by the end of the year. The Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which will provide a significant performance boost compared to the previous Pad 6 Pro model.
The new Xiaomi tablets are expected to feature HyperOS and will be certified in the Eurasian Economic Union under the numbers 24091RPADG and 2410CRP4CG. The launch of the new products is scheduled for September this year.
