Microsoft is actively pursuing its new business strategy of making Xbox-branded games available to as many gamers as possible and releasing them on rival consoles like PlayStation and Nintendo.

Xbox exclusives such as Pentiment, Grounded, Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves have been ported from late 2023. Microsoft immediately commented that this is just a trial run and if it proves successful, more ports are in store for gamers.

Here's What We Know

A few days ago, a well-known insider Shinobi602 reported that "Microsoft will announce another big game on PS5 next week" (from the author: it will probably happen at gamescom 2024).

A second well-known insider eXtas1s, who often shares reliable information about Xbox plans, has information that four ports will be announced soon!

No one can name specific games yet, but many speculate that one of them will be the adventure action game Indiana Jones and the Great Circle from Bethesda and MachineGames, especially since the game will get a lot of attention at the German trade show. In turn, Windows Central editor Jez Corden believes that Microsoft may port not its newest games, but, for example, Killer Instinct, State of Decay 2 or Halo: Master Chief Collection.

We remind you that recently there were a lot of rumours about a collection of old parts of Gears of War, which, as Jeff Grubb stated, will be released on PlayStation.

In any case, Microsoft has a huge number of great games, so whatever the announcement sounds - it will be a loud event.

Recall, gamescom 2024 will be held from 21 to 25 August and will provide gamers with a huge amount of interesting news, shows and announcements, but Hollow Knight: Silksong will definitely not be there.
