Huawei unveils giant 98-inch Smart TV V5 with Super MiniLED and HarmonyOS 4 for $5000

Huawei has introduced a new 98-inch Smart TV V5 model with a Super MiniLED 4K display and HarmonyOS 4. The largest TV in the lineup is available on VMall at a price of 36,999 yuan (5168 USD), with a discount of up to 34,999 yuan (4889 USD) until 31 August.

Here's What We Know

The Huawei Smart TV V5 98-inch features an Ultra HD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 95% DCI-P3 colour gamut, 750 nits brightness and 2000 nits peak brightness, which provides a bright and clear image.

The TV runs on the Honghu Swan 900 chip and HarmonyOS 4 with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory. The audio system includes dual speakers for better sound quality. The wireless remote control offers convenient navigation.

The device also has artificial intelligence features, including content duration control, seat position reminder, and eye protection.

The TV has several connection options: HDMI 2.0, HDMI 2.1, USB and Ethernet. It also has a camera for voice commands and video calls. The new TV has dimensions of 2176.2 x 1256 x 65 mm and weighs 63 kg without a stand.
