Chromecast with Google TV will get Android TV 14

Google recently unveiled the TV Streamer with Android TV 14 on board and a host of new features. Now it is known that Chromecast devices will also get this version of the OS.

The information was shared by the publication Android Authority, referring to the words of the company's representatives. The new firmware should be released later this year.

Unfortunately, there is no information about the innovations of the system yet. Given that Chromecast with Google TV (HD) and Chromecast with Google TV (4K) have weak specifications, it can be assumed that they are unlikely to have all the features of Google TV Streamer.
