Germany hands over new military aid package to Ukraine

Germany continues to help Ukraine by transferring a new package of weapons to the AFU.

Here's What We Know

This time the Ukrainian army received:

• 2 launchers for IRIS-T SLS SAMs
• 10 Sonobot 5 maritime drones;
• 26 Vector UAVs
• 1 armoured repair and recovery vehicle Bergepanzer 2;
• 6 armoured excavators;
• 14,000 155 mm artillery shells
• 50 CR 308 rifles;
• 10 HLR 338 rifles;
• 700 MK 556 assault rifles.

Incidentally, due to the expenditure of funds that were allocated by the federal government for 2024, Germany was unable to buy an additional IRIS-T SLM battery for Ukraine.
