A new gameplay trailer of Commandos: Origins has been unveiled - the developers announced that the tactical game will be released on last generation consoles as well

Publisher Kalypso Media and Claymore Game Studios have unveiled a new gameplay trailer of the tactical game Commandos: Origins, which should revive the once iconic franchise, released in the late 90s and early 2000s.

Here's What We Know

In the trailer, timed to gamescom 2024, showed what tasks will be performed by a squad of trained saboteurs in the territories of the Third Reich and its allies.

Players will have to take control of a squad of unique characters and conduct military operations in the rear of the Nazi army. These will be the tasks of eliminating officers, sabotage, reconnaissance, stealing documents and rescuing important people.

Commandos: Origins will offer a variety of locations, from the Arctic ice to the sands of Africa. The game will feature co-operative play, both online and on a single screen.

Visitors of gamescom 2024 will be able to get acquainted with Commandos: Origins demo.

The developers announced one more important news: by numerous requests of gamers they decided to release the game on last generation consoles - PS4 and Xbox One.

When We Can Expect It

Commandos: Origins will be released in 2024 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox, and will immediately appear in the Xbox Game Pass catalogue.
