The published results of a new survey have revealed interesting trends among potential iPhone 16 buyers. In particular, the data confirms that Apple is choosing the right strategic course to increase the size of its new models.

Here's What We Know

A survey conducted by SellCell among 2000 people (1000 women and 1000 men) showed that 54.9% of respondents want to have a larger iPhone. Men are the most interested in this - 62.1%, while among women this figure is 47.8%.

According to the survey, Apple is likely to increase the size of the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max. The iPhone 16 Pro will have a 6.3-inch display instead of the previous model's 6.1-inch display, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a 6.9-inch display instead of 6.7-inch display.

The majority of respondents (61.9%) plan to upgrade to the new models in September. However, 82% do not expect the new Apple Intelligence system to be fully ready for launch. The main reasons for upgrading to the new iPhones are improved thermal design and reduced overheating issues.
