No one doubted that Black Myth: WuKong would become a sales hit.

Today the release of the ambitious Chinese action game took place and its success probably exceeded all expectations.

Just a few hours after the release, Black Myth: WuKong's online peak approached 1.5 million people! This information is not available on PS5, but nothing indicates that the console version is less popular.

The Monkey King game has already surpassed such giants as Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring, Hogwarts Legacy and Baldur's Gate 3 in terms of peak online play.

It is currently second only to the ultra-popular online games PUBG, Palworld and Counter-Strike 2. Amazingly, such success was achieved by the debut game of a small and previously unknown Chinese studio Game Science!

Black Myth: WuKong receives a huge number of rave reviews, in Steam their number reached 95% with 36.5 thousand reviews. Gamers praise absolutely all elements of the game: gameplay, story, visual style, combat system, technical execution and note the absence of many annoying aspects that are inherent in Western games.

Recall, critics also warmly welcomed Black Myth: WuKong, but the reaction of gamers was overwhelming.
