Ubisoft has published a video from Assassin's Creed Shadows' Development Diaries series.

Here's What We Know

In the video, the developers explained how the presence of two main characters will enrich gameplay and narrative.

Game designers reminded that samurai Yasuke and shinobi girl Naoe have different skills, so gameplay for them is very different: Yasuke specialises in open combat and prefers not to use clever tricks, while Naoe keeps in the shadows, stealthily destroys enemies and avoids direct confrontations. Differences of characters are also manifested in their character and outlook: Yasuke is used to brutality and cruelty, but the girl-shinobi grew up in the family of a noble samurai, who shielded her from the cruel reality, so Naoe will face many things for the first time.

Ubisoft employees reminded that almost all the missions in Assassin's Creed Shadows can be completed for both characters and it was important for them that the players have no desire to pay attention only to one protagonist, ignoring the other.

When We Can Expect It

Assassin's Creed Shadows will be released on 15 November on PC, PS5, Xbox Series and eventually the game is planned to be released on iOS as well.
