Due to Microsoft's busy 2024 release schedule, Obsidian Entertainment's Avowed has been delayed until early next year. To help ease the wait, a new trailer has been released that shows off the game's impressive ray tracing on PCs with Nvidia RTX GPUs.

Here's What We Know

The trailer compares the visual effects of the game with and without ray tracing, demonstrating the more natural lighting (thanks to Unreal Engine 5's Lumen technology) and ray reflections achieved with RTX. Nvidia has also confirmed that the PC version will support Nvidia DLSS 3 for improved ray-tracing performance and Nvidia Reflex for low-latency gaming on compatible hardware.

Where To Play

Avowed will also be available on Xbox Series consoles.

When We Can Expect It

The game will be released on 18th February 2025.
