Don Salieri says hello: 2K Games and Hangar 13 Studios have announced Mafia: The Old Country
The opening ceremony of gamescom 2024 ended on a major note: publisher 2K Games and Hangar 13 studio announced a new part of the cult crime series Mafia.
Here's What We Know
The fourth part of Mafia is subtitled The Old Country and, as expected, will tell about the young years of Ennio Salieri, better known as Don Salieri from the first part of the series.
The events of the game will unfold in the 1940s in the homeland of the Italian mafia - the island of Sicily.
For the development of the new part is responsible Hangar 13 studio - the author of the controversial Mafia III and quality remake of Mafia: Definitive Edition.
The developers promise to share further details in December 2024, probably at The Game Awards.
Mafia: The Old Country is expected to release in 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
