Most users do not plan to upgrade to the iPhone 16 line

The launch of the iPhone 16 is approaching, but not all users are ready to upgrade their devices. According to a SellCell survey of 766 respondents, 34.2% said they could not afford the new model due to the price increase.

Here's What We Know

Another 34.1% believe that their current handsets still meet their needs, taking into account minor changes in new models.

In addition, 12.8% of respondents do not plan to upgrade to a new iPhone due to a contract. Another 5.5% consider the improvements in the latest generations insufficient, and 3.3% are waiting for the iPhone 17.

Nevertheless, Apple has high expectations for iPhone 16 sales and plans to produce 90 million units by the end of the year. The company hopes that new features, such as enhanced Apple Intelligence, will drive demand.
