Bethesda held an extensive reveal of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and revealed the release date for the ambitious action game

One of the most striking displays at the gamescom 2024 opening ceremony was an extensive trailer of the adventure action game Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

Here's What We Know

The developers from Bethesda and MachineGames gave a glimpse of almost every element of the game, from the motion capture of the main role performer (he admitted that the role of this iconic character is his lifelong dream) to solving unusual puzzles and fighting with enemies.

In the game about Indiana Jones the main emphasis is on close combat: protagonist fights perfectly with his fists and can throw enemies off balance with the help of his whip.

The hero has a revolver, and in battle he can pick up some other weapons, but MachineGames didn't want to make another shooter, so players will be given not too many bullets, and the emphasis in the game is not on gunfights: players will go to Egypt, Thailand and even to the Himalayas to find artefacts and solve the mystery of the Great Circle.

When We Can Expect It

The show also announced the game's release date - Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be released on 9 December on PC (Steam) and Xbox Series, including Game Pass. And in spring 2025, as reported by the insider, the game will be available on PlayStation 5.
