Savage Levels and Microids have announced the official release date of the role-playing game Flint: Treasure of Oblivion - it will be released on 24 October for Xbox Series, PlayStation 5 and PC. The announcement was accompanied by a fascinating story trailer showing the quest of Captain Flint, his team and the game's distinctive comic book-inspired art style. Gamescom attendees will have the opportunity to see the game with their own eyes at the Microids/Astragon Entertainment booth.

Here's What We Know

Flint: Treasure of Oblivion, players will join Captain Flint, his first mate Billy Bones, and their team of seawolves in search of a legendary treasure that promises freedom and riches. The game boasts an original story told through comic books, immersing players in a historically accurate pirate adventure with a touch of fantasy.

In addition to the unique story, Flint: Treasure of Oblivion offers strategic depth through its turn-based combat system. This system draws inspiration from the mechanics of role-playing and board games, including the use of dice rolls to add a level of unpredictability. Players can assemble a team with different skills, allowing them to adapt their tactics to suit their playstyle. During the tactical phases, skill and attribute cards can be used to enhance the capabilities of team members and gain an advantage in battle.
