The African country of Rwanda has purchased at least one Russian Mi-35 attack helicopter.

Here's What We Know

The helicopter was identified during a recent parade in the capital of the African country. The ceremony was attended by a Mi-35M attack helicopter and a Mi-171 transport helicopter of the Rwandan Air Force.

Thanks to the Mi-35M's paint job, it was possible to identify it as the same aircraft that was spotted during production at Rostvertol in July 2021.

It is worth noting that neither party has announced the delivery of Mi-35 helicopters to the country. Also, there is no information yet on whether the aircraft was delivered between the summer of 2021 and the summer of 2024, or whether there were any other aircraft besides it.
