We wrote that Sea of Thieves was the most downloaded game on PlayStation 5 in May. However, 58% of players abandoned the pirate adventure in the summer, but this did not prevent Microsoft's game from showing good sales on Sony's console.

Here's What We Know

Windows Central reported that Sea of Thieves has crossed the one million sales mark on PlayStation since its launch there. Currently, the game is sold for $40, so even if we do not take into account the internal purchases of Sea of Thieves, it is at least about $40 million dollars. However, this amount should be deducted from the percentage taken by the PlayStation Store.

Nevertheless, the amount is quite good and it is not surprising that Microsoft plans to continue releasing its games on PlayStation. For example, it is already known that in March 2025, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be released on PS5.
