At the Future Games Show, which took place during gamescom, the public was presented a new trailer of Worshippers of Cthulhu city-building simulator, in which players need to build a city around a bottomless rift, which opened and heralds the awakening of the great and terrible Cthulhu.

Gamers will take on the role of the head of the cult of Cthulhu and their actions will bring closer to the awakening of the indescribable monster sleeping at the bottom of the ocean.

In Worshippers of Cthulhu it is necessary to construct buildings, monitor resources, take care of the needs of citizens and subdue them to your will and - most importantly - make sure that the ancient god from Lovecraft's books is satisfied with his followers.

It is noteworthy that in order to perform some actions, such as sacrifices, the player needs to switch to a specific character and control him with a third-person view.

The video also revealed the release date of Worshippers of Cthulhu - the game will be released on 21 October 2024 on PC (Steam), and will later appear on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.

A strategy demo is available to gamers for a limited time.
