System requirements for the horror game Directive 8020, the new instalment of The Dark Pictures anthology, have been published

Supermassive Games studio published system requirements of space horror Directive 8020, which will be the fifth full-fledged part of The Dark Pictures anthology and will take players to the distant future.

Here's What We Know

The announcement trailer for Directive 8020 was shown at the opening ceremony of gamescom 2024 and revealed almost no details about the game.

On the game's page in Steam, the developers reported what characteristics the user's computer must meet to comfortably pass the horror, and they are a bit higher than you might expect from a game in the genre of "interactive cinema". You need 16 GB of RAM and 70 GB of free space, preferably using SSD.

  • graphics card: Nvidia RTX 2070 Super or AMD RX5700;
  • processor: Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600;
  • RAM: 16 GB;

  • graphics card: Nvidia RTX 3070 or AMD RX6800;
  • processor: Intel Core i5-12400F or AMD Ryzen 5 5600;
  • RAM: 16 GB;
  • free space: 70GB (SSD recommended).

When We Can Expect It

Directive 8020 is expected to release in 2025 on PC, Xbox Series and PlayStation 5.
