Google has launched a new Essentials application that will be pre-installed on new Windows laptops. The first devices with this application will be HP laptops such as Envy, Pavilion, and Omen.

Here's What We Know

Essentials provides users with access to various Google services, including Google Photos, Google Messages, Google Sheets, Google Drive, Nearby Share and Google One. The application also allows users to browse and install additional Google services, adapting the working environment to their own needs.

Essentials includes the ability to download popular Android games through Google Play Games, which can be synchronised with mobile devices. Users can uninstall any part of the application or uninstall it completely.

Google plans to extend Essentials to other Windows PCs in the future.
