Google Keep launches new AI feature to automatically create lists on Android
Google Keep is launching a new AI-powered "Help me create a list" feature for Android. After several months of testing, the feature, which was part of Workspace Labs, is now available to all users.
Here's What We Know
The feature uses Gemini technology to turn simple prompts into detailed to-do or shopping lists. For example, the query "write a grocery list for a healthy dinner" generates ingredient categories such as "lean protein" and vegetables. Lists are automatically formatted and can be edited or pasted into notes.
The option is already available on all Android devices with Google Keep v5.24.322.01.90 and higher, without requiring a Google One subscription. A newer Keep update v2.24.332.02.90 allows you to disable this feature completely, but this version is not yet available on the Play Store.
