At gamescom 2024 publisher Square Enix and Deck Nine studio presented a new trailer of dramatic adventure game Life is Strange: Double Exposure.

Here's What We Know

In the centre of attention was the main character of the game Max Caulfield, familiar to gamers from the first part of Life is Strange.

After the events of the 2015 game, the girl lost her ability to travel through time, but in Double Exposure she can travel through alternate realities and influence the course of events in them to try and save her friend from being killed in the "main reality".

In the game, the reality-switching locations are labelled with the name "Vibration" and when used, objects and people in the parallel reality appear translucent and do not react to Max's presence.

Curiously, in the jumble of realities can get confused not only the player, but also the protagonist: she will start talking about events and people that are not in this timeline, so you need to follow the selected lines in the dialogues.

When We Can Expect It

Life is Strange: Double Exposure will be released on 29 October 2024 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The game will later be ported to Nintendo Switch as well.
