Not so long ago, a "Polish shooter" was associated with a low-quality game with a small budget and almost complete lack of plot.

Recently, Polish developers have made a huge step in the development of the gaming industry and release incredibly cool games, including shooters, many of which can be admired.

One of such projects may well be an unusual and extremely stylish game Mouse, which recently received the subtitle P.I. For Hire.

Here's What We Know

Representatives of Fumi Games studio talked to journalists during gamescom 2024 and showed new footage of the extravagant shooter Mouse: P.I. For Hire.

The game is characterised by its unique visuals: it is stylised after the early Disney cartoons, but offers a dark look at the world of anthropomorphic animals and is a kind of reimagining of the adventures of Mickey Mouse.

In the Polish interpretation, Mouse is a private detective who stands up to gangsters and corrupt authorities. He will have a difficult fight with the underworld, and in this case the main character will be helped by an impressive arsenal of firearms, which also looks very stylish.

Gamers can expect dynamic shootouts, elegant locations and gloomy noir plot. The developers jokingly call their project Cuphead with Headshots and indeed, the visual style of Mouse: P.I. For Hire is very reminiscent of the sensational platformer of 2017.

When We Can Expect It

Mouse: P.I. For Hire is expected to release in 2025 for now only on PC (Steam).
