RPG fans are in for a great game: half an hour of Avowed walkthrough with developer comments was shown at gamescom

At gamescom 2024, an extensive gameplay demonstration of the ambitious role-playing game Avowed from Obsidian Entertainment took place.

Here's What We Know

Avowed game director Carrie Patel commented on the demo. The audience was shown 30 minutes of gameplay, during which you can see the dungeon exploration, complex dialogue system, features of the combat system and the use of magic spells.

Avowed will offer huge freedom not only in story development, but also in weapon selection and tactics: players can freely combine different spells, cold and firearms, use cunning to lure enemies into traps or avoid battles altogether.

The footage shown looks great and we can be sure that Avowed will be one of the top new games of 2025, especially for RPG fans.

When We Can Expect It

Avowed will release on February 18, 2025 on Xbox Series and PC, and will also appear in the Game Pass catalogue.
