POCO X5 Pro receives August security update
Xiaomi has begun rolling out a new security patch for August 2024, covering several of its devices. Among them is POCO X5 Pro, which now receives an update to improve system security.

The update is available for users in ROM Global, EU, India, and Indonesia.
POCO X5 Pro, which was released in 2023 and originally ran on MIUI 14 with Android 12, now uses HyperOS based on Android 14. The latest update from August 2024 adds important security improvements, making the smartphone more secure against possible threats.
The build numbers for the August HyperOS update include OS1.0.7.0.UMSEUXM, OS1.0.6.0.UMSINXM, OS1.0.6.0.UMSIDXM, and OS1.0.6.0.UMSMIXM, depending on the region. The update is approximately 20 MB in size and is rolling out gradually.
POCO X5 Pro is equipped with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and is powered by a Snapdragon 778G chipset. Thanks to this, the smartphone provides high performance in games and everyday tasks.
