Intuitive and clear: Frostpunk 2's game director talked about the main changes in the interface and visual design of the game
Studio 11 bit has published a video that completes the City Unbound video series, which is dedicated to the nuances of the urban strategy game Frostpunk 2.
Here's What We Know
The sixth video from Polish developers is called Human Dimension and in it Frostpunk 2 game director Łukasz Juszczyk told about how the interface and visual design of the game has changed compared to the first part.
The developer emphasised that since Frostpunk is an extremely complex strategy game, it is important that the player has no trouble understanding the huge number of windows and designations. The 2018 game had a bit of a problem with this, but during the sequel's development, 11 bit overhauled the design, fonts, and layout of many of the interface elements and made it intuitive and less complicated.
In addition, after beta testing, the developers further improved some of the elements that players complained about. As a result, Frostpunk 2 should be less difficult to master, but just as addictive and complex as the first part.
When We Can Expect It
Frostpunk 2 will be released on the 20th of September. The game will first be available only on PC, and later will be released on consoles as well, and will be available in the Game Pass catalogue from day one.
