OnePlus is facing a serious quality issue with its flagship smartphones. Users are reporting critical motherboard malfunctions in the OnePlus 10 Pro and OnePlus 9 Pro models, which lead to sudden device shutdowns and significant repair costs.

Here's What We Know

There have been reports of devices suddenly stopping responding, leaving users with black screens and no power.

One owner described how their OnePlus 10 Pro, which initially experienced lag and heat issues, shut down completely. Despite trying various troubleshooting methods, the phone remained dead. The service centre found a motherboard that was not functioning.

Another case involved a OnePlus 10 Pro 5G user whose phone froze after a software update and stopped charging. The cost of the repair was approximately Rs 42,000.

These cases have raised concerns among consumers, who are demanding that OnePlus publicly address the situation and possible solutions, such as free repairs or extended warranties.

The company is currently not commenting on the issue, but the negative user reviews are calling into question the quality of the brand.
