Kenya to receive Turkish Bayraktar TB2 attack drones in service

We are talking about Bayraktar TB2. This was reported by the company Baykar, which is engaged in the production of UAVs. Kenyan operators have already undergone a training programme to use the drones. Deliveries of the first Bayraktar TB2 will start soon. It is not yet known how many drones the Kenyan army will receive.

The Bayraktar TB2 is a Turkish medium-range unmanned aerial vehicle developed by Baykar Technologies. It is designed for reconnaissance, surveillance and strike missions.
The TB2 is equipped with advanced sensors including electro-optical and infrared cameras, as well as laser rangefinders and target designators. The UAV can carry a variety of weapons, including guided missiles and bombs, enabling it to perform pinpoint strikes against ground targets. The UAV has a range of up to 150 kilometres. It can stay in the air for up to 27 hours.
By the way, Ukraine has been actively using Bayraktar TB2 since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion on 24 February 2022.
