A British take on the post-apocalypse: 14 minutes of gameplay of the promising RPG shooter Atomfall from the makers of Sniper Elite have been released
RPG-shooter Atomfall from Rebellion studio is called the British version of Fallout. The project from the creators of Sniper Elite reminds the cult post-apocalyptic series gameplay, story and even stylistically.
A trailer showing Atomfall gameplay was recently unveiled at gamescom 2024, and another detailed reveal of the game took place shortly afterwards.
Here's What We Know
IGN channel published a 14-minute gameplay video of Atomfall on PC.
Viewers were shown extremely picturesque panoramas of Britain, the beauty of which does not spoil even the ruins of buildings. You can also see some shootouts with local bandits, game interface, character development system, choice of lines in dialogues and other basic mechanics of Atomfall.
Interestingly, with the help of a metal detector, players will be able to find buried cases, in which valuable items and notes of those who left them are hidden.
It should be noted that the game looks interesting and has all chances to succeed.
Atomfall is really stylistically reminiscent of Fallout. The game has a similar visual style and atmosphere, because in the world of Atomfall there was also a nuclear disaster, but in this universe there was no nuclear war - the accident at the Windscale nuclear power plant was to blame. It should be noted that the developers from Rebellion do not copy Fallout, but offer their own view on the similar setting.
When We Can Expect It
Atomfall is expected to be released in March 2025. The game will be available on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and will be available on Game Pass from day one,
