First time on sale: the PC version of the original Resident Evil 2 (1998) is now available on GOG

The PC version of the original Resident Evil 2 is now available for the first time on the GOG digital shop.

Here's What We Know

The shop offers to buy for a small sum ($10) the same cult horror from 1998. This is not a remake, remaster or HD-release, but the original version of the game with minor technical improvements, compatibility with modern systems and support for all popular gamepads, including DualSense, Switch and Xbox.

Like all games at GOG, Resident Evil 2 is sold without DRM protection and doesn't require a constant internet connection.

GOG will soon offer a third Resident Evil instalment as well, but customers can already purchase all three Resident Evil instalments as part of a single compilation.
