Garmin introduces Fenix 8 with AMOLED display and up to 21 days of battery life
Garmin has officially unveiled the new Garmin Fenix 8 and Garmin Fenix 8 Solar smartwatches for multisport. The main novelty is the AMOLED display on the base Fenix 8 model, while the Solar version retains the MIP display with solar charging for longer battery life.

Both variants are available in 47mm and 51mm sizes, as well as a smaller 43mm version for the Fenix 8.
The Garmin Fenix 8 features a 1.4-inch AMOLED display (454 x 454 pixels), while the Garmin Fenix 8 Solar has a 1.3-inch MIP screen (260 x 260 pixels).
Both models include a built-in speaker, microphone, flashlight, and support for QZSS and BEIDOU navigation systems. The watches are waterproof up to 40 metres and feature new diving and apnoea modes.
The Fenix 8 has a battery life of up to 16 days, and the Solar version provides up to 21 days of operation thanks to the new solar technology.
The Garmin Fenix 8 starts at USD 999.99 and USD 1099.99 for the Solar version.
