Honor has released a new firmware for the Magic 5 series of smartphones.

The information was shared by a Twitter user with the nickname @fabrizio_degni. The firmware was released with the number MagicOS 8.0.0.158 and weighs over 400 MB. The update is already rolling out in waves to devices in the global market.

As for the list of changes, it includes an August patch that improves device security. In addition, the developers have worked on optimising the software. Unfortunately, there are no new features in the system.
