Ukrainian company Inguar Defence presented the concept of the Inguar-7 infantry fighting vehicle

Ukraine's Inguar Defence has presented the concept of an infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) called the Inguar-7.

The Inguar-7's hull has a rugged appearance, as indicated by the thick side armour modules visible in the image. The absence of a wave deflector and propulsion system suggests that the vehicle will not have amphibious capabilities.

It is believed that the Inguar-7's armament will include an unmanned tower, structurally similar to the BM-7 Parus module, but with significant modifications. The tower also appears to have a 30mm automatic cannon, probably the Ukrainian ZTM-2, which is a variant of the Russian 2A72.

The cannon is complemented by a dual launcher for Ukrainian Stugna-P anti-tank guided missiles. The turret is also equipped with a gunner's electro-optical sight and a commander's panoramic electro-optical sight. In addition, a set of smoke grenade launchers is installed in the aft part of the tower.

The presentation took place after Inguar Defence unveiled the Inguar-3 light armoured vehicle concept in autumn 2022. A fully developed prototype of the Inguar-3 was publicly displayed in March this year. Since then, the vehicle has reportedly undergone frontline testing and has been used by units of the Azov Brigade and the National Guard.
