Samsung's Galaxy S20 series flagships are also getting a security update in the US, following the Galaxy S21 lineup

As with Samsung's Galaxy S21 series of smartphones, the August update has also become available in the US for another flagship lineup, the Galaxy S20.

Here's What We Know

The update is available for the unlocked US models of the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ and Galaxy S20 Ultra. The new software has been given version G981U1UESAHXG1 and addresses 50 vulnerabilities, many of which are critical. This update was previously available for the European models of these smartphones.

If you have one of the US versions of the Samsung Galaxy S20 smartphones, you can check for the update by going to Settings " Software Update " Download and Install.
