Samsung is soon planning to release a new foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, which will be an improved version of the recently unveiled Galaxy Z Fold 6.

Here's What We Know

According to new information from insider @evleaks, the novelty will get a 200-megapixel main camera similar to the one used in the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which will significantly increase its photographic capabilities. The device will be 10.6mm thick when folded and 4.9mm thick when unfolded, making it thinner than its predecessor.

The screen will also get bigger, with the external display being 6.5 inches and the internal display being 8 inches. The Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is expected to go on sale at the end of September, but will likely only be available in South Korea and China. The price of the device has not been announced yet, but it is expected to be higher than the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Despite the improved specs, the chances of the device appearing in the US and Europe remain slim.
