Perhaps no one doubts the imminent release of the PS5 Pro console - its detailed technical data appeared at the beginning of the year, and developers have long since begun to receive prototypes to adapt their games.

The only thing that is not clear - when Sony will officially present the new device and what will be its design.

However, these questions were answered by authoritative insider billbil-kun.

Here's What We Know

The French journalist did not provide photos of the device for fear of legal consequences, so he drew the PS5 Pro, based on a detailed description of his sources.

According to billbil-kun the device will go on sale under the name PS5 Pro and externally will not differ radically from the base model of the console and PS5 Slim.

PS5 Pro will have two USB-C ports and a power button on the front panel, and the body of the console is made in white colour. The main visual difference from previous models is the three horizontal black stripes in the centre of the case.

Billbil-kun suggests that the side panels of the PS5 Slim will be compatible with the PS5 Pro, although the new console is slightly wider.

The insider isn't entirely sure about the lack of a disc drive, but as a reminder, Tom Henderson has been saying for a few years now that the PS5 Pro will be sold without a drive with the option to buy one separately.

It will come with the usual DualSense controller in white.

Most insiders, including billbil-kun, agree that there will be a massive show from Sony in September, where the company will unveil the PS5 Pro.

The device is expected to go on sale in late November.
