Black Myth: Wukong has become a real hit. With a peak online presence of 2.4 million players and good reviews, the game is one of the most successful of 2024. And now it has become known about the number of players not only on PC but also on PlayStation 5.

Here's What We Know

Simon Carless, the founder of GameDiscoverCo, said that 3 million people have played Black Myth: Wukong on PlayStation 5. However, it should be borne in mind that the game was made by Chinese developers, so 2 million of these 3 million were Chinese.

The story was similar on PC, when 88% of players were also from China.

Flashback

The story is based on Journey to the West, one of the four great classic novels of Chinese literature. You will face challenges to uncover the hidden truth behind the veil of a glorious legend from the past.

You will have to use your staff, magic, and various equipment to find an approach to each enemy. And in between epic battles, you can explore locations for interesting content or admire the scenery.

So if you're a fan of soulslike and Chinese culture, and you've always wanted to fight for a monkey, this is the place to be.
